Top Fashion designer, Mr. Francis Libiran’s “Affaire de Coeur”, trunk show has descended on Davao last November 4 and 5, 2017 held at Marco Polo Hotel.
We were among the few incredibly lucky who were given VIP access behind the dressing room door at the Presidential Suites, and a rare chance of meeting Francis and his husband Mr. Christian Mark Jacobs, President and Chief Operating Officer of Francis Libiran Bridal. Thanks to my friends, Mr. Francis Dominque Chang (Medical Representative) and Mr. Ryan Absin, widely known in IG and in social media as “The Gay Wanderlust”, a travel blogger and a “Lippy for Granny Advocate”, who invited me to an incredible Saturday.

Completing the luxurious day at the Presidential Suite, is the welcome sparkling wine upon arrival, the array of fresh flowers, as guests were given access to a plethora of gowns.
The bridal gowns are handpicked specifically for display, where lucky soon-to-be-brides is given an advance look at the designer’s line. Mr. Jacobs personally gives us all a tour and it leaves everyone in high spirits.
Brides are encouraged to come with an open mind, to fully engage with the experience. The trunk show begins at the lobby with displays of Libiran’s two breath-taking gowns and the array of collections including the Forever Francis Libiran rings.
Brides are then ushered to fit at least three to five gowns, along with a relaxed setting and a chance to snap a photo and meet Libiran in person who with his unique vision, will take brides through the beautiful possibilities of what will work best for both their figure and how it’s going to help them on their journey of finding their dream dress.
